RESEARCHER Mobility and Transport Area (Specialisation in Artificial Intelligence)

DeustoTech – Technological Institute of Deusto (http://deustotech.deusto.es/) is the technological research centre of the University of Deusto, located on the Bilbao campus, whose mission is to promote research, training and knowledge transfer at the service of society and industry.  DeustoTech is currently involved in 18 European projects (H2020 and Horizon Europe) and fosters a creative and challenging environment with international researchers and PhD students.

We seek to incorporate a researcher with experience in the area of Computer Science to drive and lead international projects, coordinate multidisciplinary and diverse teams, collaborate with partners of recognized prestige, and contribute significantly to scientific progress in this field.

Among the activities to be carried out are:

• Identify opportunities and trends in research in the field of the application of  Artificial Intelligence and Computer Science for the improvement of transport and mobility.
• Conceive and design proposals for national and international projects.
• Lead the execution of projects coordinating multidisciplinary work teams.
• Establish links and collaborate with other public and private entities nationally and internationally.
• Promote the scientific dissemination of research results and their transfer to society and industry.

OFFERED:

Incorporation into the organization to Full Time in spring 2023. The economic conditions will be according to the experience and knowledge provided by the candidates.

The position is initially funded for 3 years from the date of joining. Another 2-3 year extension based on the availability of funding in the group.
