Call for Postdoctoral Fellow Candidates at the DeustoMED Research Group

The Vice-rectorate for Research and International Relations along with the _DEUSTOMED_ research team at the University of Deusto are seeking postdoctoral candidates to join the Faculty of Health Sciences.

Purpose of the position

−  The postdoctoral candidate will join the DeustoMED research team, which is predominantly comprised of medical educators and researchers. The team’s research focus is encapsulated in the theme "Patient-Centered and Sustainable Care," encompassing projects in basic laboratory research, digital health, and educational innovation in medicine, all centered around the person and climate sustainability. The postdoctoral researcher will serve as an active contributor to the research initiatives developed within the team, applying their expertise in methodology and statistical analysis to research proposals, design and implementation processes, data analysis, and the dissemination and transfer of findings.

−  Health, Well-being, and Social Cohesion

o      Patient-Centered and Sustainable Care

Objectives of the position

−  Collaborate in research proposals within the medicine department, and also in collaboration with other departments and disciplines.

−  Publishing in high impact journals (WoS and SJR) along with group members

−      Working in competitive projects (Basque Government, Spanish Government, Horizon Europe…)

−      Submitting competitive research proposals.

−  Engage in knowledge transfer and promote social impact through participation in conferences and scientific workshops.

−  Supervise doctoral theses and undergraduate final projects in the Medicine program.

We offer

−  Duration. The contract will be for 3 years.

−  Amount and terms of payment. An allocation of 32,985.15 to 42,000 gross euros per year will be granted, distributed into 15 monthly installments, depending on the candidate’s experience.

−  Terms. The contract with the University of Deusto will fall under the associate researcher/investigador/a asociado/a category.
